God or an attack from the enemy?

How do you discern whether it is a test from God or an attack from the enemy? 

I think what is wildly important & crucial to understand is that …. 

God is real. 

satan is real. 

God is the almighty & powerful, omnipresent God. 

God is not the opposite of satan. 

Although the satanic realm & demonic world is just as real today as it was in biblical times. 

Unfortunately the spirit of religion & intellectual & western society culture has blinded & deceived many. 

So how do you discern if it’s God testing you or the enemy attacking you? 

You first need to be aware that the enemy is real & is not….. 

-your partner 

-your children 

-your boss 

-your toxic friends 

The enemy is invisible but he is not fictional.

He is winning big time in many people’s lives particularly in the western world but simply not being acknowledged. 

In fact he loves that you think there is only love & light. 

After all he will appear to you as the angel of light when in deed he is not… 

2 Cor 11:14

"And no wonder, for even satan masquerades as an angel of light."

Deception means you do not know you are being deceived. 

So to discern who it’s coming from you first need to fully admit & be aware that the enemy is real. 

The second part would be even more vital to defending & defeating the enemy… Salvation. Declaring Jesus as your Lord & Savior. Surrendering your will & ways. 

Believing that he did in deed die for your sins & was raised up from the dead…. As a believer the same spirit that rose Christ from the dead will reside in you…. 

Salvation Prayer 

Dear Lord Jesus, 

I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. 

Romans 8:11 

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. 

Once you are clear that you are on team God & that the enemy is real you will have deeper discernment on whether it is an attack or a test…. 

When you are not a believer you actually have the opportunity to be fully demon possessed…. 

And that makes it pretty hard to discern…. 

Once you become a believer you can then pray this prayer: 

Dear Father God Give me discernment & support to know when it is you & when it is not. Break off the veils & chains of deception so I can SEE with kingdom eyes your truth. In Jesus name. 

When you are being tested it will be life’s challenging times & challenges it will not be out of left field….

…it’ll be predictable even not a sideswipe

Sideswipes & sickness are the enemy’s trademark…

Financial attacks can also be a trademark….

And remember every single attack will be used for Gods glory & as a test to show your loyalty & faith. 

“I will take hold of your hand to keep you from falling.” Psalm 36:24

At the end of the day to really discern whether it is God's test or the enemy consult the Holy Spirit who is your comforter & guide.

*Please note you can only be infilled with Holy Spirit as a believer & saved. Otherwise you will be filled with another spirit not of God.
